Capabilities

Our integrated model brings UK contract-lifting expertise together with world-class heavy-lift engineering. We engage early, engineer rigorously, and execute safely—reducing risk, time on site and total installed cost.

Early engagement & feasibility

We capture your operational constraints and programme drivers, then test options for constructability, modularisation, transport and lifting.

Engineering & methodology

Our in-house engineers develop primary and alternative methods, produce lift studies and calculations, and verify temporary works designs.

Detailed planning & costing

We produce BS 7121-compliant lift plans, RAMS, and resource profiles, aligning schedule, cost and risk.

Equipment & logistics

Independent UK sourcing of mobile, crawler and tower cranes, specialist tackle and ground protection—plus access to Fagioli’s engineered systems (SPMT, strand jacks, tower lift systems) when needed.

Execution & supervision

Project Managers, Supervisors and specialist Engineers coordinate execution with zero-compromise on safety and quality.

Assurance & handover

We document every lift with traceable calculations, inspection records and as-built data for seamless close-out.

Projects

HEBRON PROJECT

Engineering, heavy lifting and assembly of the topside of the Hebron offshore platform in Canada. Five major modules and ancillary modules were lifted and assembled with a combination of SPMT, strand jacks, tower lift system, crawler cranes, elevator system and skids. The 44,000-tonne utility process module, the largest loadout operation ever performed in the offshore industry, was executed in South Korea and transported to Canada.

Sannazzaro refinery

Refurbishing and expansion of one of the biggest petrochemical plants in Europe, located in the north part of Italy in one of the busiest European industrial areas. Tasked with finding a solution to modularise the construction of a prilling tower, over 60 meters high, maintaining the modules within the transport envelope limitation.
Our solution was to create a module assembly station at site, to stack one on top of the other three sections of prefabricated modules utilising, SPMT and strand jacking systems.

pluto train 2

Expansion of the existing Woodside Energy-operated Pluto LNG facility through the construction of a second gas processing train. Pluto Train 2 will process Scarborough gas and have an LNG capacity of ~5 million tonnes per annum. As part of the construction of Pluto Train 2, additional domestic gas infrastructure will be installed with capacity of ~225 Terajoules per day.

HSEQ

Safety is Non-negotiable

Every lift plan, calculation and operation is executed to UK best practice and legislation: BS 7121, LOLER, PUWER and CDM 2015.

Our engineering approach is built on documented assurance, inspection regimes and zero-harm culture.

Fagioli’s engineering division is qualified by DNV as an Engineering Company, adding a further layer of governance to complex methods and temporary works.
